Call For Art: Winter Gallery Show

The Mansfield Art Center invites Ohio artists to submit two-dimensional artwork for our upcoming Winter Gallery Show. This exhibition celebrates the quiet beauty and heartfelt warmth of the season; from cozy indoor scenes and peaceful landscapes to vibrant winter florals and moments of comfort and joy. We welcome paintings, drawings, photography, and mixed media that reflect the many ways winter inspires reflection, rest, and renewal.

Artist and Entry Eligibility:

• Open to all Ohio artists.
• Each artist may submit up to 4 pieces of artwork.
• Artwork in any medium will be considered that is 2D for wall hanging
• All entries must be the original composition of the artist and owned by the artist. Copies of any kind, AI generated images, or work made from a kit will not be accepted.
• All entries must be dry and ready to hang/display using appropriate hanging hardware (See: Hanging Instructions).
• Entries may be submitted online through the Mansfield Art Center website.
• A 40% commission will be deducted from the sale price of any work sold during the show.
• All entries must have a declared insurance value listed. Insurance value is 50% of the Sale/NFS Price.
• The MAC cannot accept responsibility for entries not accepted for exhibition, nor for entries which are poorly framed, wired, unrealistically valued, or fragile.
• The MAC reserves the right to use selected work for marketing and publicity.
• The MAC reserves the right to remove work at any time.
• Entries must be delivered in person (no shipping).
• Responsibility for accepted work ends at 5pm January 10, 2025. Work that is not picked up in a timely manner/ without prior arrangements with staff, will be considered a donation.
• Summary Card must correspond with entry labels:
• 2d - place label on the back upper right.
• Entry of work constitutes acceptance of all stated conditions.
