Mindy Tousley, AAWR Executive Director, a native of Western New York, Tousley has lived in Cleveland since 1992. She graduated from the State University College at Buffalo in 1983, with a Bachelors degree in Design.
Mindy has held the position of Executive Director of the Artists Archives of the Western Reserve (AAWR) since 2015. Under her leadership the Archives has expanded to a collection of 10,000 works by 96 artists, with a membership over 200% larger than in 2025. AAWR has also received Ohio Museum Association awards in 2021, and 2022 for Best Community Partnerships, and Best Exhibition. She is the former director of Akron’s Harris Stanton Gallery, a former Co-Director of City Artists at Work in the Cleveland Campus Inc District for 17 years, and former Secretary of the Northern Ohio Art Dealers Association and coordinator of the 2014 NOADA ARTExpo.
She has acted as juror for various exhibitions and programs, including The Buffalo Society of Artists, The National Collage Society and the Ohio Collage Society, the Ohio Scholastic Competitions, Boston Mills, the Crocker Park Arts Festival, and Summit Art Space in Akron. She is a current member and Chair of the Publications Committee of The Cleveland Museum of Art Print Club.
She herself is an Archived Artist, and her own work has been collected locally and nationally by both corporations and individuals, such as: Buckingham Doolittle and Burroughs, Tucker Ellis, YWCA of Cleveland, Brouse McDowell, Glidden House, CSU Student Activity Center, University Hospitals, The Dalad Group (Tinnerman Lofts) and Nordsen. Her past gallery affiliations in Cleveland were with The Harris Stanton Gallery, The River Gallery, The Bonfoey Gallery, and Art Everywhere. She is currently represented by Gray Haus Studios.

Artist and Entry Eligibility:
Open to all Ohio artists.
Each artist may submit up to 4 pieces of artwork.
Artwork in any medium will be considered.
All entries must be the original composition of the artist and owned by the artist. Copies of any kind, or work made from a kit will not be accepted.
All entries must be dry and ready to hang/display.
Artwork that has been accepted into previous May Shows is not eligible for entry.
Entries may be submitted online through the Mansfield Art Center website or in person.
A 40% commission will be deducted from the sale price of any work sold during the show.
All entries must have a declared insurance value listed. Insurance value is 50% of the Sale/NFS Price.
The MAC cannot accept responsiblility for entries not accepted for exhibition, nor for entries which are poorly framed, wired, unrealistically valued, or fragile.
The MAC reserves the right to use selected work for marketing and publicity of May Show.
The MAC reserves the right to remove work at any time.
Entries must be delivered in person (no shipping).
