Welcome to the basics of drawing. In this 3-day class you will learn the beginning points of how to draw. You will gain an understanding of drawing with pencil and charcoal, experimenting with the different types of lead and graphite, blending tools, paper surfaces and much more.
We will cover the fundamentals of drawing beginning with shading, perspective, line and shape. By learning these "basics " of drawing, you will then be able to create your own works of art!
The class will also consist of SketchBook assignments for students to take home, execute the assignments on their own and bring them back for discussion about what they have created and go over any adjustments that they need to make as well
Intermediate and advanced classes will be offered in the winter for those whose desire is to continue learning the process of drawing.
For the safety of everyone we recommend social distancing and masks are required. Due to covid-19 we can only accommodate a maximum of 10 people for the class, so register soon!
A waiting list will be available.
